Thief in the Night

‘Thief in the Night’ is the seventh and final painting from my ‘Dreaming in the Shadows’ Collection. It represents issues surrounding mothers’ guilt and struggling with remembering to appreciate the present moment. As a mother of 3 I am constantly feeling guilty about how I spend my time. If I’m working, should I be spending time with them? If I’m having a day off should I be working? I’m often wondering if I should be doing something else instead of enjoying the present moment. For me this is a work in progress and I’m still learning to be in the moment. Are you?
