Bellanoch – Beautiful Night

‘Bellanoch – Beautiful Night’ was a commission for a friend and collector of my art. The painting commemorates her marriage. Her husband would recite ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’ and her own boat is featured in the painting. The setting is Bellanoch, Lochgilphead, near Crinan in the Scottish Highlands. I was lucky enough to stay on this boat while in the canal where I did the research.
