My Rose Garden
‘My Rose Garden’ depicts a bride wandering through the garden of The House for an Art Lover designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh the Scottish architect, designer and artist. The mysterious woman is wearing a white dress and smelling one of the roses. The red roses reflect the style of the Mackintosh Rose and symbolizes love and romance. The House for an Art Lover, a popular wedding venue, uniquely brings all the arts together. Mackintosh wanted his designs to be seen as a complete unit rather than individual components. He wanted to connect individuals with his work by carefully balancing opposites, modernity with tradition, masculine with feminine and light with dark.
