Here Comes the Sun
‘Here Comes the Sun’ was commissioned by a collector who requested some of the elements in the painting. My main aim was to highlight the beauty of nature and the incredibly wonderful place we call home. I wanted to capture the happiness of sunflowers and butterflies are a symbol of transformation. Robins are seen to evoke new beginnings and are often thought to be a sign that loved ones who have passed are near. As with many of my paintings I try to illustrate that all of nature is bound together and intrinsically connected.
We all have a responsibility to reverse climate change before it’s too late. I have painted a sunrise, the symbol of growth and new beginnings because I believe that having a positive attitude and visualising change is the first step to success.
