Fools Gold

I painted this after a break-up. It’s about making very big mistakes about who to trust/love. The lion representing the Leo man is staring into the distance, his eyes are not on the woman but searching for something or someone else. There is an inner vulnerability and a struggle with strength and hope. The rainbow being the symbol of hope and new beginnings. The gold at the end of the rainbow symbolising something that seems so unobtainable. It’s about having the courage to keep your heart open when you have been hurt. Butterflies stand for transformation and change.
